CBT therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is often a short-term treatment that focuses on a specific difficulty. During the treatment, the patient learns to identify patterns of thinking that fail and behaviors that reinforce the problem.
The treatment focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings and behavior, and helps to develop an effective connection between the three and to flex the perceptions that cause difficulties. The cognitive-behavioral therapy is a psychological therapy that has been proven to be the most effective, especially in the treatment of anxiety. The emphasis in this treatment is experiential and practical, and combines controlled and gradual experience - both during the meeting and at home, between meetings.
The parents are an integral part of the treatment and it is very important to apply the tools learned in the treatment at home as well. Therefore, at young ages, regular parent training sessions are held, allowing parents to use these tools with their children.
